Beauty Marx is hiring a part-time Social Media Marketing Intern at our Doylestown Medical Spa, to start immediately.

Social Media Marketing Intern

The Position

​Love social media and digital marketing?  We are looking for a well-rounded, motivated Social Media Intern to join our team. The ideal applicant will possess strong knowledge of the digital media landscape, including various social media sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to website redesign projects, monitoring and posting on blogs and social networks, engaging in online forums, participating in online outreach and promotion, optimizing our website and conducting keyword analysis.  This is an unpaid internship with flexible hours. You’ll have the opportunity to build professional experience and a portfolio of work in a cutting edge medical spa, while also experiencing our services

Responsibilities

• Capture video and photos in a live environment
• Create engaging blog, vlog and social media content
• Work with the COO to create and implement campaigns
• Develop content calendars on a weekly and monthly basis
• Monitor analytics with management to identify viable ideas
• Assist in the general distribution of press releases and media alerts
• Provide support to our team at live and online events​

Required Skills

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• In-depth working knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest and Google+
• Advanced video & photography skills
• Digital video & photography editing and production

Required Experience

• 2+ years’ experience in social media/marketing (relevant schooling may count)
• Experience with social media analytics, including Google Analytics and Facebook Insights
• Digital content editing & production

Required License & Education

• Associate (preferred)
• Formal digital marketing education and/or demonstrable on the job training
• Valid Driver’s License and access to transportation
